Rhein-Ruhr Computational Geometry Workshop

The Rhein-Ruhr Workshop on Computational Geometry is an annual gathering of the research groups in computational geometry in the Rhein-Ruhr area.  Our aim is to discuss open problems in current computational geometry topics and collaborate closely in small groups.

This year's 5th edition will be hosted at TU Dortmund University, Germany, from September 22–25, 2026. We will meet in the computer science building (Otto-Hahn-Straße 14). 

The workshop starts September 22, 14:00, and ends September 25 around noon.

Location

The workshop takes place in the Computer Science Building, TU Dortmund, Otto-Hahn-Straße 14 (OH 14), 44227 Dortmund

Rooms: The room for main gatherings is 202 (tentative). The workshop starts there. For group work we also have the rooms 203, 104 and 304. For talks we meet in the connected building Otto-Hahn Straße 12 (OH12) in room E.003 (ground floor, left of the elevators).
 

Costs

There is no registration fee, but participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and daily expenses.

How to get from there to TU Dortmund, CS building (approx 20min):
Walk to the mainstation “Dortmund HBF” and take the train (S-bahn) S1 to “Dortmund Universität”. Walk to Otto-Hahn-Str. 14.
